GOD We believe there is one God, Almighty Creator of all things. He is the Father, eternally existing, who is Spirit, a personal Being of supreme intelligence, knowledge, love, justice, power and authority. He is the Source of life and the One for whom human life exists. He is omnipotent, omniscience, and omnipresent which means He's all powerful, all knowing and all present everywhere at all times. (Ephesians 4: 6). He has declared to be a God to the Children of Israel (Joel 2:27, Amos 3:1-2 Jeremiah 24:7), therefore He revealed himself as the God of Israel, (Isaiah 45:3, Isaiah 41:1, II Chronicles 15:13, Isaiah 45:3, Psalms 31:14, Luke 1:68) We believe He alone is to be worshiped (St. John 4:23-24). We believe God promised eternal life only accessible through His Son, Jesus. We believe He is ever merciful and loving as He is the Father of all. We believe that the God of Israel gives us free will, though it is His desire for us to choose Him.
JESUS CHRIST We believe, according to the scripture that Jesus Christ has eternally existed being one with the Father God.(Colossians 1:15, John 1:1;14, 1 Timothy 3:16) We believe that He is the Messiah, the Christ, the Divine Son of the True and Living God, and the long awaited true King of Israel, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born in the likeness of human flesh of a virgin named Mary. We believe that it is by Him that God created all things. We believe that He was sent to redeem Israel from their sin (Matthew 1:21, Matthew 15:24, Acts 13:23) He was crucified, died and was buried, and rose again on the third day overcoming hell and death and through Him all men regardless of race, creed or color can be saved. We believe that Jesus Christ stands now as the High Priest and Mediator between God the Father and humanity.
THE HOLY SPIRIT We believe in the Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost as the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit is the third member of the Holy Trinity and is the power of God and the Spirit of life eternal. The Holy Ghost is one with the Father and the Son and is a gift given to the saints to empower them. The Holy Ghost moves through the Earth, comforting those in need and showing love and compassion on all mankind. (2 Timothy 1:7; Ephesians 4:6; 1 Corinthians 8:6; John 1:1-4; Colossians 1:16). The Holy Spirit also teaches and guides one into all truths. John 16:13; Acts 1:8, 8:39)
THE BIBLE We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and contains one harmonious and sufficiently complete system of doctrine. It is a historical book that has been proven to be divinely inspired and absolutely correct through numerous articles of scientific and archaeological research. We believe in the full inspiration of the Word of God. We hold the Word of God to be the only authority in all matters and assert that no doctrine can be true or essential, if it does not find a place in this Word. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:16-21)
ISRAEL The name Israel is first documented when Jacob's name was changed to Israel, meaning "He who has power with God and with man"(Genesis 32:21-32). Jacob and his entire family were then known collectively as Israel, God's chosen people. The name Israel is chosen of God for all of His children to spiritually surname themselves by (Isaiah 44:5). This name represents true son ship to God. It is not a man-made name but a name given to us from the God of Israel; a name that He owns and has given to His people (2 Chronicles 7:14) . This name represents a change in character and a surrender of one's own will to God. We recognize African Americans to be the original Israelites and see the importance of restoring this identity, however being an Israelite goes beyond race or color but is a spiritual matter. If you believe in Christ then you are Abraham's seed (Israel) and an heir to the Promises of God (Galatians 3:29) Anyone who accepts Christ as Lord is a Spiritual Israelite.
THE CHURCH The Church forms a spiritual unity of which Christ is the divine head. It is animated by one Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus Christ our Lord. It professes one faith, shares one hope, and serves one King. It is the home of the truth and God’s agency for communicating to believers all spiritual blessings. When Christ came, He fulfilled the old covenant and established the new covenant. This new covenant allows anyone who is willing to leave behind their old ways and pick up Christ as their savior to spiritually become apart of God's chosen people, no matter what color, race or creed. (Ezekiel 18:31, John 10:16, Rev. 3:20, John 3:16, Matthews 10:5-6) These believers are referred to as the Church. We understand that the Church is the gathering of the Saints of God and is not to be forsaken. Together, we receive strength, power and collectively praise and worship the Most High.
SALVATION God loves us so much that He sent an extension of Himself, His Son, Jesus of Nazareth, to die on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. We believe that salvation is found by placing our faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross. We believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again and anyone who confesses this truth and accepts Jesus Christ as their personal savior, can and will be saved. (Romans 10:9) (John 7:38)
SPIRITUAL TRUTH We believe that every born again believer should be spiritual, meaning to understand the importance of spiritual matters. We affirm that God is in all life and that there is continuity of the individual soul after the transition called death. God is Spirit and if we are extensions of Him, so are we; and if we are Spirit, there is no true limit to us. Spirit was never born and therefore Spirit can never die. We believe in spiritual assistance from the Spirit realm, namely angels and emphasize the use of spiritual gifts.
